Lalique is the French house of René Lalique (1860–1945), the Art Nouveau jeweller and glass master who, in the early twentieth century, began designing perfume bottles for François Coty and helped turn the flacon into a work of art. Lalique crystal is still made at the house's works in Wingen-sur-Moder in Alsace, and in 1992 the house launched its own fragrance line, Lalique Parfums, with Lalique de Lalique; today it belongs to the Swiss Lalique Group. Its best-known scents come from leading perfumers: Nathalie Lorson composed the cypress-and-vetiver Encre Noire, its smokier Encre Noire À l'Extrême, the berry-bright Amethyst, the iris-and-patchouli Perles de Lalique and the white floral L'Amour, Dominique Ropion signed the vanilla-and-almond Le Parfum, Christine Nagel created the spicy citrus Lalique White, and Maurice Roucel composed Lalique Pour Homme, known as Lion.

Lalique perfume samples and decants: 7 perfumes in sizes from 3ml, so you can try before you buy a bottle.
