The best Another 13 dupe overall is Simply Another by ALT. Fragrances, which one Fragrantica member found very close to the original on her arm. ## What does Another 13 smell like?

[Another 13](https://10ml.com/perfumes/le-labo-another-13) by [Le Labo](https://10ml.com/brands/le-labo) was composed by Nathalie Lorson, launched in 2010 and is sold as unisex. The house's [own page](https://www.lelabofragrances.eu/fr/en/classic-collection/another-13/eau-de-parfum) calls its key material ambroxyde; the catalogue lists it as [Ambroxan](https://10ml.com/notes/ambroxan). The opening is a light touch of [pear](https://10ml.com/notes/pear) and [apple](https://10ml.com/notes/apple). The heart sets Ambroxan beside moss and [jasmine](https://10ml.com/notes/jasmine), and the base is [musk](https://10ml.com/notes/musk) with ambrette, the seed that gives a soft, skin-like warmth.

Its accords run musky, clean, fresh, powdery, woody and a little animal.

## Why so many perfumes resemble it

The materials at the centre of Another 13 are shared widely. Several perfumes build on its pairing of Ambroxan and musk, which is why searches for an alternative turn up so many names, and why votes on the comparison pages below are rarely unanimous.

## Best overall: Simply Another

Simply Another by ALT. Fragrances leads on one detailed account. A Fragrantica member who sprayed Another 13 and several clones next to one another on her arm, [writing on the Another 13 Shades page](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/The-Dua-Brand/Another-13-Shades-85767.html), found Simply Another and the original very close. In a [Fragrantica forum thread on Another 13 dupes](https://www.fragrantica.com/board/viewtopic.php?id=311700), another member says she is very happy with it.

The main difference is in the published list. [ALT's own page](https://altfragrances.com/products/inspired-by-another-13) says it is inspired by Another 13 and names ambroxan, musk, jasmine and moss: the heart and base of the original, with the pear, apple and ambrette not named.

It suits someone who wants the musky core of Another 13 in a full bottle and cares less about the fruit at the very start. Basis: a named source, one member's arm comparison and a forum recommendation, plus ALT's note list.

## Closest on the dry-down: Parallel

Parallel by Oakcha divides opinion, so read both sides. On its [Fragrantica page](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Oakcha/Parallel-93034.html), two members who wore it next to Another 13 find it very close; one of the pair notices only a slight difference up close.

What changes is a matter of dispute. Other members on the same page disagree: some find it sharper, some soapier, and some do not find it close at all. [Parfumo's comparison](https://www.parfumo.com/compare/oakcha/parallel/vs/Le_Labo/AnOther_13) settles in the middle and rates the pair moderately similar.

It suits someone willing to accept a split verdict for the chance of a near match, ideally with a 3ml of the original to check it against. Basis: a named source, two members who wore both, with dissenting comments and Parfumo's moderate verdict.

## Sweeter take: Other 13

Other 13 by Alexandria Fragrances has a small but one-sided vote behind it: on [the pair's comparison page](https://www.parfumo.com/compare/Alexandria_Fragrances/other-13/vs/Le_Labo/AnOther_13), 16 of 19 voting members find the two similar.

Where it moves is the character. Parfumo members classify Other 13 as synthetic, sweet, woody, fresh and creamy, and the original as synthetic, fresh, woody, spicy and fruity. Going by those labels, the fruit and spice give way to sweetness and a creamier feel.

It suits someone who finds Another 13 a touch cool or sharp and would like the same airy musk with a softer, sweeter edge. Basis: a named source, Parfumo's pair vote and classifications.

## Darker take: Le Temps Perdu

Le Temps Perdu by Salle Privée is a niche perfume in its own right, not a clone. On [its comparison page](https://www.parfumo.com/compare/Salle_Privee/Le_Temps_Perdu/vs/Le_Labo/AnOther_13), nine in ten voting members rate the two similar.

The change is weight. Parfumo members classify it woody, synthetic, spicy, animal and powdery, while the original leads with synthetic and fresh. On those labels it is the warmer, more animal of the two, with the freshness pushed back.

It suits someone who already wears Another 13 and wants a deeper, woodier version for evenings. Its bottle is the dearer of the two we could price. Basis: a named source, its Parfumo vote and classifications.

## Premium alternative: Arizona Bloom

Arizona Bloom by Floral Street is another perfume with its own identity. In a [Fragrantica forum thread on Another 13 alternatives](https://www.fragrantica.com/board/viewtopic.php?id=321557), a member says it smells very close to Another 13 and costs much less. On the [Arizona Bloom comparison page](https://www.parfumo.com/compare/Floral%5FStreet/arizona-bloom-eau-de-parfum/vs/Le%5FLabo/AnOther%5F13), more than two in three voting members agree that the two are similar.

The main difference is that nobody on record spells out what changes: the forum remark is short, and the vote leaves about a third unconvinced. Its 50ml bottle is smaller than the other priced picks.

It suits someone who wants a separate perfume with some backing as an Another 13 alternative, and who will try it before trusting one remark. Basis: a named source, one forum member and Parfumo's vote.

## Where the picks part ways with Another 13

The arguments about these picks keep coming back to the same two points. Some read sharper or soapier than the original, which is the complaint against Parallel. Others swap the fruit for sweetness, as Other 13's profile suggests.

What none of the sources picks out is the pear and apple opening. ALT leaves them off Simply Another's list entirely, so if that fruit is what you like in Another 13, wear the original before deciding.

## Clone bottle or an Another 13 decant?

The table prices two of the five, Le Temps Perdu and Arizona Bloom. Simply Another, Parallel and Other 13 show "No EU list price found", since no euro list price turned up for any of the three.
