# Blue Talisman Dupes 2026: 7 Clones vs the Original

Seven Blue Talisman dupes compared on their published notes, with where each drifts from the Ex Nihilo original. 10ML sells the original Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman as a 3ml or 10ml decant to wear first.

**We sell only the originals.** Every perfume we sell is the authentic original, decanted from the perfume house’s own bottle. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. We never sell dupes, clones or inspired-by perfumes. This guide compares the dupes other houses make of Blue Talisman, so you can choose, or wear the original first.

## Quick answer

The best Blue Talisman dupe overall is Legacy by Maison Asrar. Enforcer by Bujairami is the closest match to judge after its opening: one Fragrantica member calls it a nice take on the Eau de Parfum. Pride Art of Universe by Lattafa has the lowest price of the seven. Want the real thing? A 10ml decant of Blue Talisman costs €50.22 at 10ML, poured from the original bottle.

You can try the original, [Blue Talisman](https://10ml.com/perfumes/ex-nihilo-blue-talisman), at 10ML as a 10 ml decant, before you choose a dupe.

## What does Blue Talisman smell like?

[Blue Talisman](https://10ml.com/perfumes/ex-nihilo-blue-talisman) is a 2023 [Ex Nihilo](https://10ml.com/brands/ex-nihilo) Eau de Parfum built around one idea: a juicy [pear](https://10ml.com/notes/pear) sitting on clean, airy musk. The opening pairs that pear with bergamot and mandarin, and a thread of [ginger](https://10ml.com/notes/ginger) keeps it from turning into plain fruit. The heart adds [orange blossom](https://10ml.com/notes/orange-blossom) and Georgywood, a modern woody material. The base is where the house puts its weight: Ambrofix and Akigalawood, two dry woody materials, over a bed of [musk](https://10ml.com/notes/musk). The house describes the pear resting on soft, abstract musks, and that dry, diffusive trail is the part people either love or find too synthetic.

There is also [Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum](https://10ml.com/perfumes/ex-nihilo-blue-talisman-extrait-de-parfum), a stronger concentration on a similar pear and musk frame, priced from €21.69 for 3ml at 10ML. Several of the clones below are aimed at the Eau de Parfum, not the Extrait, so compare against the version you actually know.

## Why most clones get close, and where they stop

Blue Talisman is unusually easy to follow on paper. Its pyramid is short, and three of its materials, Georgywood, Ambrofix and Akigalawood, are trade-named ingredients whose names turn up on several of the clones' lists as well. Ex Nihilo uses all three again in the base of its own 2026 [Demon Dancer](https://10ml.com/guides/ex-nihilo-demon-dancer-sample), under an opening of bergamot, blood orange, peppermint and rhubarb in place of Blue Talisman's pear. The pear-and-citrus opening is the easy part. The difficult part is the balance at the end: how much musk, how much dry wood, and how little sweetness. Most clones lean one way or the other, so each pick below names the direction it takes. For background on the ambery materials behind that dry finish, see [ambergris vs ambroxan](https://10ml.com/guides/ambergris-vs-ambroxan).

## Best overall: Legacy

Legacy by Maison Asrar opens on pear, ginger and bergamot, moves to orange blossom and jasmine with woody notes, and settles on musk, amber and vanilla. The first two stages follow Blue Talisman closely, and the ginger is there, which Turathi Electric leaves out.

**The main difference:** the base. Where the original uses its dry woody-amber materials, Legacy lists amber and vanilla, so the finish is warmer, rounder and sits closer to the skin. One Fragrantica member finds it muskier, with less of the original's spice; members who own Blue Talisman call it very close, especially once dried down. Two wearers say a new bottle only came into its own after about three months of rest.

**Who it suits:** someone who wants the Blue Talisman character for everyday wear in warm weather and does not mind a slightly softer, sweeter dry-down.

**Basis:** named external source. The [Fragrantica listing](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/MAISON-ASRAR/Legacy-105076.html) shows the notes and the owner comparisons, and a [member commenting on Art of Universe](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Lattafa-Perfumes/Art-Of-Universe-101314.html) names Legacy as nearer to the original profile.

## Closest on the dry-down: Enforcer

Enforcer by Bujairami publishes a note list that reads like Blue Talisman's own: pear, bergamot, ginger and mandarin, then Georgywood and orange blossom, then Akigalawood and musk. Only Ambrofix is missing from the names.

**The main difference:** the start. One Fragrantica member calls the opening the part furthest from the original, then, once it has dried down, calls it a beast performer. A member writing on [Art of Universe's page](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Lattafa-Perfumes/Art-Of-Universe-101314.html) lists Enforcer among the clones closer to the original's profile. So judge it after the opening, not on the first spray.

**Who it suits:** the wearer who cares about the woody-musk trail more than the first spray, and who likes the sound of a clone one owner calls a beast performer.

**Basis:** named external source. The [Fragrantica listing](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Bujairami/Enforcer-134752.html) carries the notes and the member comments, and [the house itself](https://bujairami.ca/products/enforcer-inspired-by-blue-talisman-ex-nihilo) presents it as inspired by Blue Talisman.

## Lowest price: Pride Art of Universe

Pride Art of Universe by Lattafa shares mandarin, ginger, bergamot, pear, orange blossom and musk with Blue Talisman, then adds amber and cedar underneath. Of all the picks, it has the most member write-ups behind it.

**The main difference:** it rearranges the pyramid. Mint joins the citrus on top, and the pear moves down into the heart, so the opening is sharper and more peel-like, and the whole scent reads sweeter and louder. Members are split: one places its dry-down closest to the original, while another misses the ginger and the clean citrus lift. Treat it as a take on the style rather than a close match.

**Who it suits:** a first try at the pear-and-musk style, or a bottle to wear freely in summer while you decide whether the original is worth it.

**Basis:** named external source. The [Fragrantica listing](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Lattafa-Perfumes/Art-Of-Universe-101314.html) shows the notes and the split views, and a [forum reply](https://www.fragrantica.com/board/viewtopic.php?id=333269) recommends it for a similar scent profile.

## Fresher take: Turathi Electric

Turathi Electric by Afnan shares pear, mandarin, bergamot, orange blossom and musk with Blue Talisman. It adds pink grapefruit on top, apple and cedarwood in the heart, and amber and vanilla in the base.

**The main difference:** there is no ginger. Members describe a citrus-forward opening, with tart grapefruit ahead of the pear, and a watery, sunny feel that is brighter than the original. Without the ginger, one member also finds it leans a little sweeter. A member writing on the Blue Talisman page calls it the closest alternative they have owned, while finding that the original holds on longer.

**Who it suits:** hot days and holidays, for someone who likes Blue Talisman most in its first bright hour.

**Basis:** named external source. The [Fragrantica listing](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Afnan/Turathi-Electric-108244.html) carries the notes and member views, and the comparison comes from a member on [Blue Talisman's Fragrantica page](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Ex-Nihilo/Blue-Talisman-84224.html).

## Sweeter take: Mystical Amulet of Blue

The Dua Brand's Mystical Amulet of Blue lists every note Blue Talisman does, including Georgywood, Ambrofix and Akigalawood, and the house says openly that the original inspired it.

**The main difference:** it barely moves. Members describe a linear scent that stays close to its opening from start to finish, slightly sweeter than the original and without the little spiced woodiness Blue Talisman develops. One member finds the middle and dry-down very close; another finds it sharper and more citrus-forward at first. The house says it built it to be louder.

**Who it suits:** someone who loves the opening and wants it to stay put, for daytime wear in warm weather.

**Basis:** named external source. The [Fragrantica listing](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/The-Dua-Brand/Mystical-Amulet-Of-Blue-93405.html) shows the notes and member comments. It is sold in US dollars from the house's own shop and was listed unavailable when we checked, so the table shows no EU list price.

## Softer take: Icarus

Icarus by Velixir names the fullest set of Blue Talisman's materials: pear, bergamot and mandarin, then orange blossom, Georgywood and ginger, then musk, Ambrofix and Akigalawood. It adds cedarwood in the base.

**The main difference:** on paper, very little. The one detailed Parfumo write-up describes a bright, fruity start that settles into a smooth, clean woody-musk scent without harshness, and says anyone who knows Blue Talisman will recognise it at once. That smoother, less synthetic finish is why it sits here as the softer take. The evidence is thinner than for the picks above, with only a handful of write-ups so far.

**Who it suits:** someone who finds the original's trail a little sharp and wants the same idea with softer edges, for the office or daytime.

**Basis:** named external source. A [Parfumo member's write-up](https://www.parfumo.com/Perfumes/velixir/icarus/reviews/701631) makes the comparison, and the [Fragrantica listing](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Velixir/Icarus-127589.html) gives the notes.

## Premium alternative: Blue Spell

Blue Spell by Yom & Layl is the dearest bottle in the table. The house describes it as an oil-based perfume inspired by Blue Talisman and publishes the same note names: pear, bergamot, mandarin and ginger, orange blossom and Georgywood, then Ambrofix, musk and Akigalawood.

**The main difference:** the format. An oil-based perfume usually sits closer to the skin and develops differently from an alcohol spray, so expect a quieter, denser version of the same idea. We found no detailed owner comparison on the fragrance databases, only a forum recommendation, so the note list is most of what supports it.

**Who it suits:** someone who prefers perfume oils, or who wants a smaller-bottle option from a house that sells it in several sizes.

**Basis:** named external source. [The house's own page](https://yomlayl.com/products/blue-spell) gives the notes and the inspiration, and a [Fragrantica forum member](https://www.fragrantica.com/board/viewtopic.php?id=333269) recommends it.

## Similar original perfumes we stock

Original perfumes that share part of Blue Talisman's citrus, pear or musk, each as a small decant.

| # | Perfume | Main notes | 3 ml | 10 ml |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | [Mancera Instant Crush](https://10ml.com/perfumes/mancera-instant-crush) | Ginger, mandarin and bergamot over amberwood, rose and jasmine, drying down to white musk, vanilla and sandalwood. | €7.56 (€2.52/ml) | €21.33 (€2.13/ml) |
| 2 | [Jo Malone London English Pear Freesia](https://10ml.com/perfumes/jo-malone-london-english-pear-freesia) | Pear and melon over freesia and rose, settling on musk, patchouli and amber. | €8.91 (€2.97/ml) | €25.20 (€2.52/ml) |
| 3 | [Xerjoff Erba Pura](https://10ml.com/perfumes/xerjoff-erba-pura) | Orange, bergamot and lemon over fruits, with white musk, vanilla and amber in the base. | €11.07 (€3.69/ml) | €30.60 (€3.06/ml) |

## The real thing as a 10ml decant, or a clone bottle?

Blue Talisman costs €50.22 at 10ML for a 10ml [decant from the original](https://10ml.com/guides/dupe-or-original-decant) bottle, or €5.02/ml. Its 200 or so sprays cover a summer of weekends with ease. Three clone bottles in the table, each holding 90ml or 100ml, cost less than that decant, so per ml every clone is far lower.

The honest trade is this. A clone gives you a large bottle of something close. A 10ml decant gives you weeks of the actual perfume, with the dry Ambrofix and Akigalawood base the clones approximate. If you reach for this style every summer morning, a clone bottle is the sensible buy. If you wear it now and then, or you have never smelled the original, start with 3ml of the real one and you will know exactly what you are comparing against.

## What every clone gets wrong

Line the seven note lists up and one thing stands out: the pear, citrus and orange blossom are the easy consensus. Where the clones split is on two things: the ginger, and what sits at the very bottom.

**How each pick departs from Blue Talisman, based on its published notes and the member comments linked above**

| Pick | Keeps | Leaves out or changes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Legacy | Pear, ginger, bergamot, orange blossom, musk | Amber and vanilla replace the dry woods |
| Enforcer | Nearly the whole note list | Furthest from the original in the opening |
| Pride Art of Universe | Pear, ginger, citrus, orange blossom, musk | Adds mint; pear moved lower; sweeter |
| Turathi Electric | Pear, citrus, orange blossom, musk | No ginger; adds grapefruit and apple |
| Mystical Amulet of Blue | The full note list | Linear; slightly sweeter |
| Icarus | The full note list, plus cedarwood | Smoother; little feedback so far |
| Blue Spell | The full note list | Oil-based; little owner feedback |

The ginger is the most common casualty. It is a small note in Blue Talisman, but it gives the pear a bite, and without it the opening drifts towards fruit salad. The second is sugar. The original is barely sweet, and its dry woody-amber base keeps it that way; several clones add vanilla or amber, or simply more sweetness, which makes them easier to like at first and less distinctive by the afternoon.

For more on dry, ambery bases like the one under Blue Talisman, see our guide to [ambergris perfumes](https://10ml.com/guides/ambergris-perfumes), which also covers perfumes built on Ambroxan.

## How to test a dupe

A paper strip only shows you the opening, which is the part the clones already do well. The differences come later and only on skin.

1. Learn the original first. A 3ml decant of [Blue Talisman](https://10ml.com/perfumes/ex-nihilo-blue-talisman) is enough for several days of wear, so you know how its base behaves on you.
2. Try the clone on another day, on the same spot with the same number of sprays. Smell it at breakfast, mid-afternoon and in the evening, since skin, weather and heat all shift a perfume.
3. Let a new clone bottle rest for a few weeks before you judge it. Several of these picks are said to change as they settle after opening.
4. Judge the dry-down. Ask whether the scent still feels clean and dry by the afternoon, or has slid into something sweeter.

If none of the clones convinces you, three authentic perfumes share part of Blue Talisman's character and come in the same small sizes. [Instant Crush](https://10ml.com/perfumes/mancera-instant-crush) by Mancera opens on ginger, mandarin and bergamot and dries down to white musk, vanilla and sandalwood. [English Pear & Freesia](https://10ml.com/perfumes/jo-malone-london-english-pear-freesia) by [Jo Malone](https://10ml.com/guides/jo-malone-dupes) London puts pear over musk and amber in a softer, more floral way. [Erba Pura](https://10ml.com/perfumes/xerjoff-erba-pura) by Xerjoff sets bright citrus over fruits, white musk and amber. For more of this style, read about [white musk perfumes](https://10ml.com/guides/white-musk-perfumes), [the best summer fragrances](https://10ml.com/guides/best-summer-fragrances) and [what a perfume decant is](https://10ml.com/guides/what-is-a-perfume-decant).

## Clone or original? What to know first

### Is Blue Talisman sold in a size small enough to test?

10ML sells Blue Talisman in 3ml and 10ml decants filled from the original bottle, from €16.56. A 3ml decant is around 60 sprays, enough to learn the original before you compare a clone with it.

### Which clones list most of the Blue Talisman notes?

Among clones, Legacy, Enforcer, Icarus and Mystical Amulet of Blue list most of its notes. Among authentic perfumes, Instant Crush shares its ginger and citrus opening, English Pear & Freesia its pear over musk, and Erba Pura its fruity, musky style.

### Which Blue Talisman dupe would we reach for first?

Legacy by Maison Asrar is the best overall pick in this guide: it keeps the pear, ginger, bergamot and orange blossom, though its base is warmer, with amber and vanilla. Enforcer by Bujairami comes closest once dried down.

### Where does Legacy part ways with Blue Talisman?

It is the best overall pick here. The opening and heart follow Blue Talisman closely, but the base swaps the dry woody-amber materials for amber and vanilla, so it finishes warmer and softer. Two wearers say a new bottle improved after about three months of rest.

### Do I need both Lattafa Art of Universe and Afnan Turathi Electric?

Probably not, because they take the same style in similar directions. Art of Universe adds mint and reads sweeter and louder; Turathi Electric drops the ginger and adds grapefruit and apple, so it is the brighter, more summery of the two.

### Which Blue Talisman do the clones follow, the Eau de Parfum or the Extrait?

The Eau de Parfum is the pear-and-musk original that most clones follow. The Extrait is the stronger concentration, on a similar pear, ginger and musk frame. At 10ML the Extrait starts at €21.69 for 3ml, so you can wear both before choosing.

### Will Blue Talisman outlast its clones on my skin?

We cannot promise how long any perfume lasts on your skin. On Fragrantica, one owner finds the original outlasts Turathi Electric, while Enforcer and Mystical Amulet of Blue are praised for staying power, so wear each on skin for a full day before deciding.

### How much less per ml do Blue Talisman clones cost?

Clone bottles cost less per ml than the original; the dated prices are in the table. For the real thing without a full bottle, a 3ml decant of Blue Talisman is €16.56 and a 10ml decant €50.22 at 10ML.

### Does 10ML sell dupes?

No. 10ML sells only original perfumes. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. The dupes in this guide are other houses’ perfumes, and we don’t sell them. You can wear the original first from €16.56.
