**We sell only the originals.** Every perfume we sell is the authentic original, decanted from the perfume house’s own bottle. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. We never sell dupes, clones or inspired-by perfumes. This guide compares the dupes other houses make of Cherry Smoke, so you can choose, or wear the original first.

## What does Cherry Smoke smell like?

[Cherry Smoke](https://10ml.com/perfumes/tom-ford-cherry-smoke) by Tom Ford is a unisex Eau de Parfum launched in 2022. It opens with sour cherry and [saffron](https://10ml.com/notes/saffron). The heart holds [leather](https://10ml.com/notes/leather), Chinese osmanthus, apricot and olive, and the base runs to smoke, woody notes and cypriol oil or nagarmotha. Its listed accords are cherry, smoky, woody, leather, sweet, fruity, nutty, almond, animalic and warm spicy. A clone has to carry a sour cherry, saffron, a leather heart and a smoky base to come near it, so each pick below is measured against those notes.

## Best overall: La Collection d'antiquités 1505

La Collection d'antiquités 1505 by Lattafa Pride lists black cherry and saffron on top, frankincense, amyris and osmanthus in the heart, and balsam, cypriol, gaiac wood and styrax at the base. It shares the cherry, the saffron, the osmanthus and the cypriol with the original.

The main difference is what the list leaves out and adds. It names no leather, apricot, olive or smoke, and it brings frankincense, amyris, balsam, gaiac wood and styrax instead.

It suits you if you want the clone with the broadest support and a resinous, woody route through the cherry rather than a leather one. It also comes in the largest bottle in this guide, which is why it leads the price-per-ml column in the table.

Our basis is a source vote: [Parfumo's comparison page shows 79 of 96 users finding 1505 and the original similar](https://www.parfumo.com/compare/Tom_Ford/cherry-smoke/vs/lattafa-pride/la-collection-d-antiquites-1505), the largest vote base of any clone we found.

## Closest on the dry-down: Lips of Cherry

Lips of Cherry by Monkoku lists black cherry, saffron, smoky notes and woody notes on top. Nagarmotha and osmanthus absolute sit in the heart, with Peru balsam and Somali frankincense at the base. It shares the saffron, the smoke, the woody notes, the nagarmotha and the osmanthus with the original.

The main difference is again the leather. Lips of Cherry names none, and it names no apricot or olive either. Peru balsam and frankincense take over the base instead.

It suits you if the smoky and woody half of the original matters most to you and you can live without a leather heart. Parfumo dates it 2025, so it is a newer perfume than the original.

The basis is a source vote and a small one: [27 of 33 users on Parfumo's comparison page find Lips of Cherry and the original similar](https://www.parfumo.com/compare/Tom_Ford/cherry-smoke/vs/monkoku/lips-of-cherry). [Fragrantica's page for Lips of Cherry](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Monkoku/Lips-of-Cherry-116088.html) lists the same cherry, wood, saffron and smoke on top, and also dates it 2025. Our "closest" label rests on that vote and those lists, not on a wear report.

## Lowest price: Smoky Cherry

Smoky Cherry by Afford lists black cherry, cherry, smoked wood, Somali frankincense, nagarmotha, Peru balsam, Chinese osmanthus absolute and saffron. It shares the cherry, the nagarmotha, the osmanthus and the saffron with the original.

Going by the lists, the difference is that Smoky Cherry names no leather, apricot or olive, and adds Somali frankincense and Peru balsam.

It suits you if the lowest bottle price in this guide is your first filter and the smoky cherry idea is what you are after. Its basis is the published notes: [Parfumo's comparison page rates Smoky Cherry and the original as quite similar fragrances](https://www.parfumo.com/compare/Tom_Ford/cherry-smoke/vs/afford/smoky-cherry) but shows no user vote line, so we say nothing about how it smells or wears.

## Sweeter take: Flaming Elixir

Flaming Elixir by Maison Alhambra is the one pick without a note list. Shops and Fragrantica disagree about its notes, so we state none. What we can say comes from Parfumo's accords, which list fruity, sweet, smoky, spicy and gourmand.

Against the original's own accords, the shared ground is fruity, sweet and smoky. The addition is gourmand, which is why we call it the sweeter take. Parfumo's five accords do not include leather.

It suits you if you want a sweeter, dessert-leaning reading of smoky cherry and are happy to judge the notes on your own skin. The basis is a source vote: [48 of 57 users on Parfumo's comparison page find Flaming Elixir and the original similar](https://www.parfumo.com/compare/Tom_Ford/cherry-smoke/vs/maison-alhambra/flaming-elixir), and the page calls them moderately similar fragrances. It gives no note pyramid or year.

## Premium alternative: Smoked Cherry

Smoked Cherry by The Dua Brand is the only pick here with a house statement and no votes. The house's own page names Tom Ford's original as its inspiration and lists sour cherry, saffron, leather, olive, Chinese osmanthus, apricot, woody notes, smoke and nagarmotha.

That is almost note for note the original's list. The one difference on paper is format: Smoked Cherry is an Extrait de Parfum, where the original is an Eau de Parfum. We call it premium for that concentration and we have no EU list price for it in our table.

It suits you if you want the leather, olive and apricot kept on the page and prefer to start from the house's own list. [The Dua Brand's page](https://theduabrand.com/products/smoked-cherry) is the only evidence, so there is no vote count to quote.

## Similar original perfumes we stock

## Cherry Smoke decant or a clone bottle: what a trial costs

The clone bottles in the table run from 50ml to 100ml, so a clone is bought by the bottle. A decant of the original is bought by the trial. That changes which number you should compare.

The original in 3ml is €33.48, good for about 60 sprays. That is about what a whole clone bottle costs, so the decant is the inexpensive way to find out whether the original is worth chasing at all. A 10ml decant costs €101.34, gives about 200 sprays and works out at €10.13/ml, enough to wear it for weeks.

Per ml, the original is dearer than every clone in the table. Per trial, a 3ml decant costs about what one clone bottle does. Both are true, and they point to different jobs. The clone is the way to wear the style every day for less. The decant is the way to check the reference before you spend on anything. Our [perfume price per ml index](https://10ml.com/guides/perfume-price-per-ml-index) shows why bottle size moves the comparison, and [decant or full bottle](https://10ml.com/guides/decant-vs-full-bottle) covers when a bigger size pays off.

## Similar originals 10ML sells

Four originals we stock overlap with it in different ways.

[Lost Cherry](https://10ml.com/perfumes/tom-ford-lost-cherry) by Tom Ford is the almond and vanilla route. It lists bitter almond, black cherry and cherry liqueur on top, sour cherry, plum and jasmine sambac in the heart, and vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood in the base. Our [Lost Cherry dupe guide](https://10ml.com/guides/lost-cherry-dupes) compares its own field of clones, and our [cherry perfumes guide](https://10ml.com/guides/cherry-perfumes) covers the wider family.

[Rouge Smoking Extrait](https://10ml.com/perfumes/bdk-parfums-rouge-smoking-extrait) by BDK Parfums brings cherry, almond, saffron and cypriol together with oud and rum. [Ebene Fume](https://10ml.com/perfumes/tom-ford-ebene-fume) by Tom Ford skips the cherry and lists cypriol, incense and leather over ebony wood. [Cherry Oud](https://10ml.com/perfumes/guerlain-cherry-oud) by Guerlain pairs cherry with oud and leather.

## What every clone gets wrong

The lists show a pattern. Of the four clones with a note list, only Smoked Cherry puts apricot and olive next to leather the way the original does. The others swap that leather heart for frankincense, balsam and woods.

A note list cannot tell you how the sour cherry opens or how the base settles. Treat each difference above as a question to answer on your own skin.

## How to test a dupe

Judge the original and any clone on skin, not on paper. A strip shows the first cherry impression but not how the saffron develops on you.

Wear the original on one day and a clone on another, on the same spot with the same number of sprays. Start with a 3ml decant so the reference is the perfume itself, and move to the 10ml decant if you want to wear it through several days. Late in the day, once each has settled, ask whether the clone kept the leather and the saffron, or swapped them for resins.

Write down what you notice, because memory fades fast. Our [guide to choosing between a dupe and an original decant](https://10ml.com/guides/dupe-or-original-decant) gives you a fuller routine. For the wider Tom Ford field, see [Tom Ford dupes](https://10ml.com/guides/tom-ford-dupes).

## Clone or original? What to know first

### Can I wear Tom Ford Cherry Smoke in 3ml before choosing a clone?

Yes. A 3ml decant of Cherry Smoke costs €33.48 and gives about 60 sprays, while a 10ml decant costs €101.34 and gives about 200. Wear the original on a few different days before deciding whether a clone bottle is worth buying.

### Which Cherry Smoke clone leads this guide, and why?

La Collection d'antiquités 1505 by Lattafa Pride leads. On Parfumo's comparison page, 79 of 96 voting members find it similar to the original, the largest vote base of any clone we found. It shares cherry, saffron, osmanthus and cypriol with the original but lists no leather.

### How close does Lips of Cherry get to the original?

On Parfumo's comparison page, 27 of 33 users find them similar, which is a small sample. Lips of Cherry keeps the saffron, woody notes and nagarmotha, but names no leather and adds Peru balsam and frankincense.

### Is a Cherry Smoke decant cheaper per ml than a clone?

No. Per ml, the 10ml decant works out at €10.13/ml and every clone bottle in the table is cheaper. As a first trial the cost is close: a 3ml decant costs about what a whole clone bottle does, so you can check the original before you commit.

### Which Cherry Smoke dupes share the original's named notes?

Smoked Cherry by The Dua Brand lists almost every note the original names, according to the house's own page. The others each share part: cherry and saffron in 1505, Lips of Cherry and Smoky Cherry, and nagarmotha in the last two.

### Is Smoked Cherry the best Cherry Smoke dupe if I want the leather?

Its own list is the only one that keeps leather and apricot, but the evidence is the house's page alone, with no Parfumo vote line. It is also an Extrait de Parfum, where the original is an Eau de Parfum. Try the original in 3ml first to see how much the leather matters to you.

### How long does Cherry Smoke last on my skin?

It depends on your skin and the weather, so there is no single figure to promise. Try a 3ml decant on different days and note how the opening settles on you.

### Does 10ML sell dupes?

No. 10ML sells only original perfumes. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. The dupes in this guide are other houses’ perfumes, and we don’t sell them. You can wear the original first from €33.48.
