Perfume ChatGPT app: use 10ML Perfume Finder in ChatGPT
10ML has not published a ChatGPT app: it is not listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory (21 October 2026). ChatGPT can still use 10ML Perfume Finder as a custom MCP server. In ChatGPT Plugins, add a custom MCP server with the URL https://mcp.10ml.com/mcp and no authentication, then ask about 5,400+ perfumes. Availability depends on your plan.

Add the perfume plugin to ChatGPT
- On the web, open ChatGPT Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins).
- Select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it 10ML Perfume Finder. A description is optional.
- Under Connection, enter the server URL with its path: https://mcp.10ml.com/mcp.
- For authentication choose No authentication.
- Read the risk warning, select I understand and want to continue, then select Create as a plugin.
- Review the tools ChatGPT found (15, all read-only) and install the plugin.
- Start a new conversation, type @, select 10ML Perfume Finder and ask your question.

If your ChatGPT shows the older Apps layout
OpenAI’s help article also describes a legacy route: in your settings open Apps, then Create, enter the same name and URL, choose no authentication, select Scan Tools, then Create. In the current Plugins layout you do not need to turn on Developer mode first; you acknowledge a risk warning for each server you add.
Who can add it
ChatGPT’s own rules decide whether you see Add custom MCP server. OpenAI’s help article (read on 21 October 2026) lists custom MCP server connections for ChatGPT Business and Enterprise/Edu workspaces on the web, where admins and owners can add them and, on Enterprise/Edu, members an admin has authorised. It says Pro users can connect custom MCP servers with read and fetch permissions; every tool of 10ML Perfume Finder is read-only. Account and workspace policies apply and the rules change, so check OpenAI’s article for your plan.

ChatGPT app or MCP server?
A listing in ChatGPT’s directory is something OpenAI reviews and publishes; a custom MCP server is one you add to your own account or workspace. 10ML has no directory listing, so the custom route above is how to use it in ChatGPT today.
