Atelier des Ors

Atelier des Ors began in France in 2015, when Jean-Philippe Clermont started a niche house built around the idea of gold and what it stands for. It works from Grasse and takes its look from Art Deco. The perfumes are generous and textured, moving between bright bergamot, grapefruit and neroli and a warm core of amber, rose, oud and saffron, finished with vanilla, sandalwood and musk. Start where the house did: Lune Feline, Rouge Saray and Crepuscule des Ames all arrived in 2015. Iris Fauve followed in 2018, and the Riviera set, from Pomelo Riviera onwards, shows the lighter, sunnier side. Marie Salamagne, Quentin Bisch and Nathalie Lorson are among the perfumers behind the range. Nearly everything here is unisex, so wear whichever pulls you in.
