BDK Parfums

BDK Parfums is a Paris house that David Benedek set up in 2016, drawing on a family connection to perfume that goes back three generations to 1959. The range is warm and polished: amber, vanilla and patchouli at the base, pink pepper and bergamot for lift, and rose or orange blossom threaded through the middle. Start with Velvet Tonka, then Gris Charnel, a spiced, woody scent with a hint of tea. Rouge Smoking is the sweet one, glossy cherry over amber. Tabac Rose sets rose against spice for evenings out.
