Byredo

Byredo was founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham, and its perfumes have a spare, Scandinavian clarity. Musk and sandalwood sit under most of them, with violet, blackcurrant and pink pepper for colour and aldehydes for a clean, airy lift. Bal d'Afrique Absolu and the original Bal d'Afrique lead the way, the second a bright mix of citrus, flowers and woods. Gypsy Water is fresh and aromatic over soft woods. Blanche is crisp and pale, all aldehydes, flowers and musk. Mojave Ghost sits between them, woody and floral with a musky finish.
