Dior

Dior began in France in 1946 as the fashion house of Christian Dior, and in 1947 it released its first perfume, Miss Dior. The scents today swing between bright and plush: bergamot and citrus on one side, powdery iris and vanilla on the other, with jasmine, rose and patchouli as recurring threads. Hypnotic Poison is the dark, almond-and-vanilla one. J'adore goes the opposite way, a glowing bouquet of white flowers with a fruity lift. Sauvage is fresh and peppery over amber, and Dior Homme Intense turns iris into a soft, woody skin scent.
