Issey Miyake

Issey Miyake founded his Japanese design house in 1970, and its perfumes carry his taste for clean lines and simple materials. The first L'Eau d'Issey, in 1992, built a scent around the idea of water, and that clear, watery feel still runs through the range. Expect yuzu, bergamot and mandarin up top, calone and lotus for the aquatic lift, then cedar, vetiver and sandalwood below. Start with L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, bright citrus with a fresh, aromatic spice. Nuit d’Issey Parfum is the evening choice, with leather, patchouli and vanilla.
