Kayali

Kayali was founded in Dubai in 2018 by Mona Kattan, and its name is Arabic for "my imagination". The house makes playful, sweet perfumes that treat scent a little like dessert. Marshmallow, whipped cream, tonka bean and brown sugar turn up again and again, lifted by fruit such as raspberry, apple and black currant, with jasmine and musk keeping things soft. Eden Juicy Apple | 01 is the fresh, fruity one, crisp rather than sugary. Vanilla | 28 is warm, ambery vanilla, simple and cosy. Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 is pure fluff, sweet and vanilla-soft with a fruity edge, and Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 is the nutty, gourmand scoop. Olivier Cresp and Gabriela Chelariu are among the perfumers credited on these. Try two side by side: they are easy to wear on their own or together.
