Le Labo

Le Labo has roots in Grasse, France, and opened in New York City in 2006, making perfumes that feel raw, personal and a little undone. The range leans woody and musky, often with a clean, skin-like edge. Santal 33 pairs cardamom with cedar and a touch of leather. Another 13 is almost weightless, all ambroxan and musk. Thé Noir 29 pairs black tea with fig and bay leaf, and The Matcha 26 is green and calm. Frank Voelkl and Nathalie Lorson are among the perfumers credited here.
