Versace is the Italian fashion house that opened in 1978, and its first perfume came in 1981, with the same bold, sensual streak it shows on the runway. The range is bright on top and warm below: bergamot, lemon and grapefruit over ambroxan, tonka bean, musk and vanilla. Start with Eros, sweet vanilla with a green, aromatic snap.
