WIDIAN is a niche house founded in the United Arab Emirates in 2014, making rich perfumes that most people can wear regardless of gender. Expect amber and vanilla at the heart, sharpened with pink and black pepper, saffron and oud, then lifted by bergamot, lemon or orange flower. Patchouli, cedar and sandalwood give the base its weight. Baniyas is the first to try, followed by New York and Black II. Aswan and London complete the set, and two of them are named after cities.
