Incense Wood by Rosendo Mateu is a 2020 oriental woody parfum from the house's Black Collection, created by the Spanish master perfumer Rosendo Mateu with his son Joan at a high 25% concentration and presented in a hand-polished black glass bottle. Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, Madagascar cloves, citrus and bergamot open spicy and bright. A heart of incense, sandalwood, rosewood and patchouli leaf gives it a smoky, sensual depth. Vanilla, tonka bean, amber, labdanum and musk settle into a rich, resinous trail. Exotic and full of character, it is best worn in fall and winter, in the evening.
