Amouage was founded in Oman in 1983, and its perfumes still carry the country's long history with frankincense and resins. Expect rich, layered compositions: incense and labdanum, saffron and cardamom, rose and jasmine over sandalwood and oud, made to unfold slowly rather than announce themselves.
