Amouage Dupes 2026: 7 Clones vs the Original
Seven Amouage clones, judged against Decision and Interlude Man on what commenters and the houses themselves say. Try the original first, as a 3ml decant.
In this guide
We sell only the originals. Every perfume we sell is the authentic original, decanted from the perfume house’s own bottle. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. We never sell dupes, clones or inspired-by perfumes. This guide compares the dupes other houses make of Decision, so you can choose, or wear the original first.

Three other Amouage perfumes already have their own dupe guide: Guidance, Guidance 46 and Reflection Man. This guide covers Decision and Interlude Man, and it gives each clone one verdict: which perfume it is judged against, what the sources say, and where they disagree. Our perfume dupes price list lists the clone prices from every guide in one place.
What does Decision smell like?
Decision by Amouage launched in 2025 and is unisex. It opens with bergamot, cardamom and pink pepper. The heart holds incense, juniper berries and myrrh, and the base rests on cedarwood, patchouli and vanilla. Cardamom and pink pepper give the opening its spice, incense and myrrh give the heart its resin, and vanilla and cedarwood close it. Amouage sells Decision on its own EU store. Two clones below are judged against it, and the community evidence for both is thin.
Closest on the dry-down: The Dua Brand Final Verdict
The Dua Brand Final Verdict is judged against Decision. On Fragrantica, two commenters who know Decision find it very close. One says it catches the freshness of Decision's opening and then the dusty, smoky incense and vanilla that carry the original. The other, who compared the two, finds it smoky and fresh with a dusty vanilla, and keeps it as a back-up to the original.
Fragrantica lists a pyramid that matches Decision's: bergamot, cardamom and pink pepper; juniper berry, frankincense and myrrh; patchouli, cedarwood and vanilla. The Dua Brand says Final Verdict is inspired by Decision and sells it as a 34ml extrait.
Treat this label with care. It rests on only two commenters, and Decision is a 2025 perfume with little community comparison yet. Neither commenter names a gap, so the open question is how it settles on your skin next to the original. It suits you if Decision's fresh opening and dusty incense are what you want and you would keep the original as your reference.
Fresher take: FIORE Nizwa
FIORE Nizwa is also judged against Decision. FIORE presents it as its Duftzwilling (scent twin) of Decision: cardamom and pink pepper, then frankincense, myrrh and juniper over vanilla, cedar and patchouli. FIORE describes the result as clear, cool and resinous, and sells it as an extrait de parfum.
That description is the only reason for the label. "Fresher take" rests on FIORE's own wording, and we found no community comparison for Nizwa. It suits you if cool and resinous is what you want from Decision. Wear the original on a different day before you commit to it.
What does Interlude Man smell like?
Interlude Man by Amouage launched in 2012 for men and is filed for going out. It opens with oregano, pepper and bergamot. The heart holds incense, opoponax, amber and labdanum, and the base rests on oud, leather, sandalwood and patchouli. Its accords are amber, balsamic, smoky, woody and spicy, with oud running through it: a dark, resinous perfume with a herbal opening. Four clones below are judged against it, and one more is paired with it by its house.
Best overall: Afnan Supremacy Incense
Afnan Supremacy Incense is judged against Interlude Man. It leads this guide because its evidence agrees most often. Parfumo's comparison page shows 135 of 151 voting members finding it similar to Interlude Man.
On Fragrantica, commenters who know Interlude Man compare the two. One finds that, past the first minutes, they dry down very similarly, with Interlude more herbal and Afnan Supremacy Incense softer. Another names it the best alternative to Interlude Man. Others find the original more complex and better, and one stresses that it is not a match for Interlude Man.
Afnan lists bergamot, oregano and pepper; amber, labdanum and opoponax; leather, sandalwood, patchouli and oud. That is every note of Interlude Man's listed pyramid except incense. Afnan makes no inspired-by statement. The differences commenters name are softness and depth: it suits you if you want a softer take on Interlude Man, and the original is the one commenters rate as more complex.
Softer take: Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Abyad
Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Abyad is judged against Interlude Man. Parfumo's comparison page shows 240 of 300 voting members finding it similar to Interlude Man.
On Fragrantica, commenters who know Interlude Man call the two brothers in scent profile, but find the original more complex, richer and deeper. One finds the oud in Shaghaf Oud Abyad not very prominent. Fragrantica lists oregano, pimento seeds and bergamot; myrrh, opoponax, olibanum, amber and citrus; smoke, oud, leather, sandalwood and patchouli.
Two commenters report hearing that it has been discontinued, and Swiss Arabian's own shop does not list it, so the table shows no euro price. It suits you if you want the profile of Interlude Man in a less complex form, and you can find a bottle.
Darker take: The Dua Brand King's Precious Oud
The Dua Brand King's Precious Oud is judged against Interlude Man. On Fragrantica, one commenter finds all of the dark, brooding side of the original there, but many of its brighter facets missing: a darker version. Another finds it smokier, closer to older Interlude Man, and fresher in a tart way from red berries in the opening.
Fragrantica lists smoke, oud, leather, amber, patchouli, sandalwood, red berries and bergamot. The Dua Brand says it is inspired by Amouage's Interlude Man and sells it as a 34ml extrait. The main difference one commenter names is the missing brightness. It suits you if the smoky, brooding side is what you reach for.
Lowest price: Paris Corner Killer Oud
Paris Corner Killer Oud is judged against Interlude Man, and it carries the lowest price per ml in this guide's table. On Fragrantica, a commenter who knows Interlude Man finds the original stronger, smokier, spicier and far more complex, with the incense and oud of Killer Oud lighter and easier to wear. Others describe a sweet, subtle incense in its dry-down.
In a Fragrantica forum thread, one member finds it lacks some of the depth and richness of Interlude Man but is less sweet. Another finds it lacks the character of Interlude Man. Fragrantica lists oregano, allspice and bergamot; incense, opoponax, amber and labdanum; oud, patchouli, leather and sandalwood. It suits you if a lighter, easier incense matters more than depth.
Premium alternative: FIORE Liwa Desert
FIORE Liwa Desert is paired with Interlude Man by its house. FIORE lists it among its Duftzwillinge (scent twins) of Interlude Man, describes smoky incense, balsamic amber and dark oud, classes it as oriental and intense, and the bottle it sells is an extrait de parfum.
Like Nizwa, this pick rests on the house's own statement only, and we found no community comparison. "Premium" reflects FIORE's extrait and its intense filing, not a claim that it beats the original. It suits you if smoky incense and dark oud are what you want, and you plan to compare it with Interlude Man on skin.
Purpose 50 and Interlude 53 Man: why no clone is listed
Purpose 50 launched in 2025, is unisex and comes as an Extrait de Parfum. It opens with bergamot, frankincense, pimento and pink pepper, moves through papyrus, rose, sandalwood and vetiver, and ends on akigalawood, saffron, suede and vanilla.
Interlude 53 Man launched in 2020 for men. It opens with oregano, pimento and bergamot, holds incense, opoponax, amber and labdanum in the heart, and ends on smoke, leather, oud, patchouli and sandalwood.
The inspired-by perfumes we found for each rest on one seller's statement, with no community comparison, and none could be bought in euros on the day we checked. None met this guide's bar. To know either perfume, wear a 3ml of the original.

For the wider house, read our guide to the best Amouage perfumes. The Amouage page lists every Amouage perfume we stock in 3ml, 10ml and 30ml.
Three originals with incense and leather in their notes
If you would rather stay with originals, we also stock Siene by Tiziana Terenzi, with leather, cypress and juniper over incense, iris and myrrh. Monarch by Boadicea The Victorious puts leather, oud, tonka bean and incense in its base. Pantheon R by Pantheon Roma pairs strawberry, cinnamon, rhubarb and thyme with an incense, vanilla and leather base.
What every Amouage clone gets wrong
Read the sources and one pattern repeats. For Interlude Man, commenters keep saying the original is more complex: richer and deeper for Shaghaf Oud Abyad, stronger and far more complex for Killer Oud, and with brighter facets that King's Precious Oud misses. Even for Afnan Supremacy Incense, some commenters prefer the original. For Decision, no commenter names a gap yet: the perfume is new, and only two commenters have compared a clone with it so far.
How to test an Amouage clone against the original
Test on skin, not on paper. Perfume changes with your skin, so a strip tells you little. Wear the clone on one day and the original on another, then compare how Decision's incense and vanilla, or Interlude Man's amber and leather, settle.
Get the original first. A 3ml decant is about 60 sprays to discover, a 10ml decant about 200 sprays to wear for weeks, and a 30ml decant about 600 sprays to keep. A 3ml of Decision is €12.96, and the guide to decants explains how we fill them. If you are unsure about buying a bottle unheard, our blind-buy guide lays out the options.
On price, a 10ml decant of Decision works out at €3.73/ml per ml. The price-per-ml index puts that next to other perfumes, and the table above shows the dated clone prices. If oud is the part you care about, our guide to oud explains the note.
We run the same comparison for other houses: Louis Vuitton, Initio and Creed.

Clone or original? What to know first
- Can I wear Decision in 3ml or 10ml before choosing a clone?
- Yes. A 3ml decant of Decision is €12.96 for about 60 sprays, and a 10ml decant is €37.26 for about 200 sprays to wear for weeks. A 30ml is €93.96 for about 600. Start with the 3ml, wear it on a few different days, then decide whether a clone is worth a bottle.
- Which Amouage clone leads this ranking, and why?
- Afnan Supremacy Incense, judged against Interlude Man. Parfumo's comparison page shows 135 of 151 voting members finding it similar, a Fragrantica commenter finds the two dry down very similarly, and Afnan's own note list carries every listed Interlude Man note except incense. Some commenters still find the original more complex and better, and one stresses that it is not a match.
- How close does The Dua Brand Final Verdict get to Decision?
- Two Fragrantica commenters who know Decision find it very close. It keeps the freshness of Decision's opening and then the dusty, smoky incense and vanilla, and its listed notes match Decision's pyramid. Neither names a difference. That is only two commenters, and Decision is a 2025 perfume with little community comparison yet.
- Is there an Amouage Decision dupe besides Final Verdict?
- Yes. FIORE Nizwa, which FIORE presents as its Duftzwilling (scent twin) of Decision and describes as clear, cool and resinous. It rests on FIORE's own statement alone, with no community comparison. Final Verdict has two Fragrantica commenters and The Dua Brand's inspired-by statement behind it.
- Which Interlude Man dupe do Parfumo members vote for?
- Two have comparison counts. Parfumo's comparison page shows 135 of 151 voting members finding Afnan Supremacy Incense similar to Interlude Man, and 240 of 300 finding Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Abyad similar. Commenters on Fragrantica still find the original more complex in both cases.
- How do the clones compare per ml with a Decision decant?
- The page's table shows each clone price, dated. A 10ml decant of Decision is €3.73/ml per ml and a 3ml is €4.32/ml per ml. Four clones have no euro list price, so compare only the ones the table prices.
- Which clones share Decision's named notes?
- Fragrantica lists bergamot, cardamom and pink pepper; juniper berry, frankincense and myrrh; patchouli, cedarwood and vanilla for The Dua Brand Final Verdict, which matches Decision's pyramid. FIORE describes Nizwa with cardamom and pink pepper, then frankincense, myrrh and juniper over vanilla, cedar and patchouli.
- How long will Decision last on my skin?
- It depends on your skin and the weather, so we give no duration. The practical way to find out is a 3ml decant, €12.96, worn on a normal day before you spend more on a bottle or a clone.
- Does 10ML sell dupes?
- No. 10ML sells only original perfumes. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. The dupes in this guide are other houses’ perfumes, and we don’t sell them. You can wear the original first from €12.96.
