Grey Point is an eau de toilette from the Polish house La Rive. Parfumo's comparison page shows 88 of 96 voting members finding it similar to Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette.
The main difference is the start. One Parfumo member finds Boss rounder and fruitier early on, with a little more sillage, and Grey Point more angular and fresher-leaning. Later in the day he finds the two very close, Grey Point weaker, and he still prefers Boss. Another member finds Grey Point slightly sweeter and a touch warmer, with apples that come across less fresh, more mashed. That member calls both weak on sillage and longevity, and a third finds the top note slightly different. It suits you if you care about the settled scent more than the opening.

Lowest price: Mawj Appletini

Of the three picks with a euro list price, Mawj Appletini costs the least; X-Bolt and three other picks have no online euro list price, so one of them may cost less in a shop. Paris Corner models it on another apple perfume, not on Boss Bottled, but members still relate it to Boss Bottled. On Fragrantica, one finds it closer to the original Boss Bottled than to its stated model. Another finds it smells like Boss Bottled in a harsher, spicier version, and a third places it in the same vein but less well rounded, sweeter and boozier.
Not everyone is convinced: one member finds it smells cheaper and is not a close dupe. Fragrantica lists cardamom and bergamot, then apple, brandy, vanilla, rum, pineapple and moss, over cedar and ambroxan. On Fragrantica's Boss Bottled page, a member recommends it as a little spicier and fresher than Boss Bottled. The main difference is the boozy sweetness and the spice. It suits you if a listed price per ml decides it and you are happy with a spicier, boozier take.

Sweeter take: Driven Eau de Parfum

Dunhill's Driven Eau de Parfum is a designer perfume, not a clone, and the members who compare it with Boss Bottled disagree on how close it is. On Fragrantica, one finds it smells like Boss Bottled with more sweetness. Another finds it smoother and less scratchy, and another very similar but less rounded and smooth. A fourth finds a similar style rather than a match. Several compare it with the Bottled Intense flanker instead.
There is dissent: one member finds an artificial, busy smell and says to buy Boss Bottled. Parfumo's comparison page rates the pair moderately similar. It suits you if you want a sweeter take on the same idea and accept that members split on it.

Adidas Victory League is a mass-market scent, and the members who compare it with Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette describe a quieter one. On Fragrantica, they call it a flatter version, closer to a body spray, sitting close to the skin with weaker performance. One finds it similar but less distinct: generally fruity, spicy and sweet where Boss Bottled is clearly apple, cinnamon and vanilla.
One member finds it smells like Boss Bottled only briefly, then turns synthetic, and recommends X-Bolt instead. Fragrantica's list has pear and lavender, not apple. It suits you if you want something lighter and closer to the skin, and are fine with less detail.

Frankfurt rests only on FIORE's own page. FIORE presents it as its Duftzwilling of Hugo Boss Bottled, its own composition and not the original, an extrait de parfum. We found no community comparison, so there is no member verdict on how it smells.
"Fresher" is a documented note difference, not a smell verdict. FIORE's list keeps apple, bergamot and plum, geranium, carnation and cinnamon, and sandalwood, vetiver and cedarwood, but it lists no vanilla, which is Boss Bottled's sweet base note. It suits you if you want Boss Bottled's apple and spice frame without the vanilla on paper.

Darker take: B104 Men
- Bottle price
- €25.00 · 50 ml
- Basis of comparison
- Inferred from published notes
MAD Parfumeur's page for B104 Men names no original perfume. This pick rests only on its published notes: plum, oakmoss, apple and citrus; mahogany, clove and cinnamon; sandalwood, olive wood and vanilla. Most of those names also appear in Boss Bottled's list. The link is our reading of the two lists, and nobody we cite has compared the perfumes.
"Darker" is a note difference only. The list names no geranium, lemon, bergamot, cedar or vetiver, so on paper the clove, mahogany, oakmoss and vanilla stand without Boss Bottled's bright top and dry woods. That says nothing about how it smells next to Boss Bottled, so test it before trusting the lists.

What every Boss Bottled clone gets wrong
Members keep returning to the same gaps. They describe picks as less rounded than the original, sweeter or boozier, or fresher and more angular. The apple and cinnamon frame travels well, but the smooth, finished feel is what members say is hardest to match.
Prefer an original? Three similar originals in the catalogue share its frame. Pure XS by Rabanne pairs apple and cinnamon with vanilla and cedar. Smoking Hot by By Kilian sets apple and cinnamon beside tobacco and vanilla. Carlisle by Parfums de Marly brings green apple and nutmeg over tonka bean and vanilla.
How to test a Boss Bottled dupe against the original
Test on skin, not paper: paper hides the sweetness and spice that skin brings out. Wear Boss Bottled one day and your pick the next, and judge the opening and the dry-down separately, since members disagree most about the start. Then wear them on two wrists and compare how each settles four to eight hours later.
Start with the 3ml of Boss Bottled (€7.11, about 60 sprays). If it earns a place on your shelf, the 10ml decant (€20.61, about 200 sprays) lasts for weeks. Background reading: perfume dupes, what a decant is, dupe or original decant, and, for blind buys, the blind-buy alternative. Clone or original? What to know first
- Can I wear Boss Bottled in 3ml or 10ml before choosing a clone?
- Yes. We fill 3ml and 10ml decants from the original bottle. The 3ml is €7.11 and gives about 60 sprays to discover it, and the 10ml decant is €20.61 for about 200 sprays to wear for weeks, next to any clone you are considering.
- Which Boss Bottled dupe leads our ranking, and why?
- X-Bolt by G. Bellini. Parfumo shows 285 of 292 voting members finding it similar to Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette, the strongest count in this guide, and a Parfumo member calls it a very good clone that smells very close. The catch is supply: it turns up in Lidl stores only from time to time, with no online list price.
- How close does a Boss Bottled clone like Grey Point get?
- Parfumo shows 88 of 96 voting members finding Grey Point by La Rive similar. One member finds Boss rounder and fruitier early on, and the two very close later in the day, Grey Point weaker. Another finds Grey Point slightly sweeter and warmer, with less fresh apples.
- Is there a Boss Bottled Eau de Parfum or Elixir dupe?
- We found no pick with support for either version. Every comparison in this guide is against the 1998 Boss Bottled. If you want the Eau de Parfum or the Elixir, wear them first as a 3ml or 10ml decant.
- How do the Boss Bottled clones compare per ml with a decant?
- The clone prices sit in the table on this page with the date we checked them, and Mawj Appletini has the lowest listed price per ml of the three priced picks; the others list no euro price online. Boss Bottled as a 10ml decant is €2.06/ml per ml, so you can set a clone bottle against wearing the original in smaller amounts.
- Which perfumes like Boss Bottled share its named notes?
- By the published lists, FIORE's Frankfurt keeps apple, bergamot, plum, geranium, carnation, cinnamon, sandalwood, vetiver and cedarwood, but lists no vanilla. MAD Parfumeur's B104 Men shares plum, oakmoss, apple, mahogany, cinnamon, sandalwood and vanilla. Lists show shared names only, not how each perfume smells.
- Is there a Boss Bottled Duftzwilling?
- FIORE presents Frankfurt as its Duftzwilling of Hugo Boss Bottled, an extrait de parfum. We found no community comparison for it, so the likeness is FIORE's description. Among dupes with member votes, X-Bolt and Grey Point lead on Parfumo.
- How long does Boss Bottled last on skin?
- It depends on your skin and the weather. Wear a 3ml for a few days, and judge the dry-down late in the day, once it has settled, before you choose a bigger size or a Boss Bottled clone.
- Does 10ML sell dupes?
- No. 10ML sells only original perfumes. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. The dupes in this guide are other houses’ perfumes, and we don’t sell them. You can wear the original first from €7.11.
