Sauvage Elixir Dupes 2026: 6 Clones vs the Original
Six Sauvage Elixir dupes, ranked by what Parfumo members report and what each house lists. Read where each one differs, then try the original in a 3ml decant before you choose.
In this guide
We sell only the originals. Every perfume we sell is the authentic original, decanted from the perfume house’s own bottle. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. We never sell dupes, clones or inspired-by perfumes. This guide compares the dupes other houses make of Sauvage Elixir, so you can choose, or wear the original first.
Quick answer
The best Sauvage Elixir dupe overall is Asad by Lattafa, which carries the largest member vote on Parfumo's comparison. Enigma Une by French Avenue pairs a near-complete shared note list with a strong member vote, and Asad also has the lowest price. Want the real thing? Sauvage Elixir is €35.28 for a 10ml decant at 10ML.

What does Sauvage Elixir smell like?
Sauvage Elixir by Dior launched in 2021 as a men's perfume. Its listed top notes are cardamom, cinnamon, grapefruit and nutmeg, so the opening is built from spice and citrus. Lavender sits in the heart. The base lists amber, Haitian vetiver, licorice, patchouli and sandalwood. Cinnamon and cardamom lead the opening, lavender holds the middle, and vetiver and amber anchor the base. That list is the yardstick for every clone below. A bottle that keeps the spice and licorice but drops the amber is a different perfume, and each section says where.
Sauvage Elixir is not Sauvage
This guide covers the Elixir only. It has its own note list, so a clone that members voted against plain Sauvage tells you little here. Every pick below was either compared with the Elixir itself on Parfumo or described against it by its own house. If you came for the plain Sauvage, read our guide to Dior Sauvage dupes, and read how Sauvage and Sauvage Elixir differ before you shop for either.

Best overall: Asad
Asad by Lattafa leads this list because it has the largest vote of any pick. On Parfumo's comparison page, 685 of 792 voting Parfumo members mark Asad as similar to Sauvage Elixir. That is what members report, not a note-for-note match.
The lists explain why. The shared listed note is patchouli. Beyond that, Asad lists black pepper, pineapple and tobacco, then coffee and iris, then amber, benzoin, labdanum and vanilla. The Elixir's cardamom, cinnamon and lavender do not appear on that list.
Choose Asad if the member vote matters more to you than a matching note list, and if tobacco, coffee and vanilla sound welcome. If you want the cardamom and lavender frame, read on. The basis is the Parfumo comparison of Asad and Sauvage Elixir.

Closest on the dry-down: Enigma Une
Enigma Une by French Avenue rests on two things: the vote and the note list. On Parfumo's comparison page, 51 of 54 voting Parfumo members mark it as similar to Sauvage Elixir. Fewer members voted than for Asad, but 51 of 54 agree.
Its note table lists the same nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon and grapefruit opening, the same lavender heart, and a base of licorice, patchouli and Haitian vetiver. The difference sits in that base: Sauvage Elixir adds amber and sandalwood, and Enigma Une's table does not.
Choose Enigma Une if the note list matters most to you. You are buying the Elixir's frame with a base that is two notes shorter, going by the lists. The basis is the Parfumo comparison of Enigma Une and Sauvage Elixir.

Fresher take: Ambassador Intense
Ambassador Intense by Gisada sits further from the Elixir on its top notes. On Parfumo's comparison page, 211 of 284 voting Parfumo members mark it as similar to Sauvage Elixir. Both perfumes list licorice, nutmeg, grapefruit, cinnamon, patchouli and Haitian vetiver.
The difference is what Ambassador Intense adds. On top it lists mandarin, bergamot, ginger and an ozonic note, and in the heart it lists raspberry and caramel. Those are the reason for the fresher slot: more citrus and a lifted opening, with a fruit and caramel heart that the Elixir does not list.
Choose it if you like the Elixir's spice but want a lighter start. It is sold in a 50ml bottle, so compare it per ml rather than by bottle price. The basis is the Parfumo comparison of Ambassador Intense and Sauvage Elixir.

Darker take: Explorer Extreme
Explorer Extreme by Montblanc is the one pick from a mainstream house rather than a clone house. It is Montblanc's own parfum, and on Parfumo's comparison page 84 of 121 voting Parfumo members mark it as similar to Sauvage Elixir.
It lists bergamot, patchouli and vetiver, plus amber and a leather accord. The shared listed notes with the Elixir are patchouli and vetiver. The leather accord is the reason for the darker slot: the Elixir lists no leather, and Explorer Extreme does.
Choose it if you want a darker direction and are happy to trade the Elixir's cardamom and cinnamon for leather. It comes in 60ml. The basis is the Parfumo comparison of Explorer Extreme and Sauvage Elixir.

- Parfumo's comparison page shows 84 of 121 voting members finding Explorer Extreme similar to Sauvage Elixir; it is Montblanc's 2025 parfum with bergamot, patchouli and vetiver, and amber and a leather accord, so the shared listed notes are patchouli and vetiver. Sweeter take: Big Sur
Big Sur by FIORE rests on the house's own words alone, and no member vote backs it here. FIORE presents Big Sur as its Duftzwilling, the German word for a scent twin, of Sauvage Elixir. We treat that as FIORE's positioning, not as a measurement.
What FIORE does list gives the sweeter slot. It describes cinnamon, lavender, liqueur notes and dark woods. The liqueur notes are the sweet part, and they are the difference from the Elixir's list, which has no liqueur.
Choose Big Sur if the liqueur direction appeals and you accept that the only evidence is the house's description. The basis is FIORE's page for Big Sur.
Why this pick?Sources: 1
Basis: Named source
- FIORE presents Big Sur as its Duftzwilling (scent twin) of Sauvage Elixir and describes cinnamon, lavender, liqueur notes and dark woods, 'wild, spicy, absolutely masculine'. Big Sur, FIORE
Premium alternative: Kiage 112
Kiage 112 has no member vote behind it, only the house's description. Kiage says that 112 reminds it of Sauvage Elixir and sells it as a Sauvage Elixir Duftzwilling. We leave its claims about quality and wear with Kiage.
The list is the useful part. Kiage lists grapefruit, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg, then lavender, then sandalwood, amber, patchouli, vetiver and licorice. That matches the Elixir's named notes closely on paper, and it covers every note the Elixir lists.
The premium slot comes from Kiage's own positioning of 112 as a Sauvage Elixir counterpart and from its price per ml in the table, which sits a step above the lowest-price picks. Choose it if you want the full note list and accept that the only source is Kiage. The basis is Kiage's page for 112.
Why this pick?Sources: 1
Basis: Named source
- Kiage writes that its 112 reminds it of Sauvage Elixir, sells it as a Sauvage Elixir Duftzwilling (scent twin) in what it calls a high-quality, long-lasting formulation, and lists grapefruit, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg; lavender; sandalwood, amber, patchouli, vetiver and licorice. Clone or the original in 3ml? Price per ml compared
The table on this page shows each clone's bottle price and price per ml, with the date we checked. Set that against the original in a decant. Sauvage Elixir costs €3.99/ml per ml in a 3ml decant, €3.53/ml per ml in a 10ml and €2.94/ml per ml in a 30ml.
The sizes do different jobs. A 3ml decant gives about 60 sprays, enough to learn the opening and the late-day base for €11.97. The 10ml decant gives about 200 sprays, enough to wear the Elixir for weeks, and the 30ml decant gives about 600 sprays to keep. Read what a perfume decant is and decant versus full bottle if you are choosing between them, and see the price per ml index for how the Elixir sits against other perfumes.
The practical point is order. None of these picks is a sure match for your skin. Spend the smaller amount first, then buy the bottle that earns it.
Other perfumes we stock in the same territory
If you like the lavender and spice of the Elixir but want a different perfume, not a stand-in, three other bottles on 10ML sit nearby. Le Male and Le Male Elixir by Jean Paul Gaultier and XJ 1861 Naxos by Xerjoff all list lavender, vanilla and tonka bean. They are their own perfumes with their own note lists, so read them as a new direction.
For a wider view of what lasts on skin, our guide to the best long-lasting perfumes for men shows how to test before buying a bottle.
How to test a Sauvage Elixir dupe
Test on skin, not on paper. The Elixir's spice opening and its base of patchouli, vetiver and licorice change on skin, and a blotter shows you neither.
- Spray the original on one wrist and a clone on the other arm, not the same arm. Note the first minute: how much cardamom and cinnamon you smell, and whether the grapefruit is there.
- Wear the original alone on one day and the clone alone on another. This keeps the notes from blurring.
- Judge the late-day base, once the top has settled. Is the licorice still there? Is the amber? That is where the lists split.
- Compare against what you actually want. If you want the cardamom and lavender frame, Enigma Une or Kiage 112 list them. If you want sweeter, look at Big Sur.
Order a 3ml of the original first, or a 10ml decant if you plan to wear it. Then your comparison uses the real Sauvage Elixir, not your memory of it.
Clone or original? What to know first
- Can I wear Sauvage Elixir in 3ml or 10ml before I choose a clone?
- Yes. Sauvage Elixir comes as a 3ml decant for €11.97, a 10ml for €35.28 and a 30ml for €88.20. A 3ml gives about 60 sprays, a 10ml about 200 and a 30ml about 600. Start with the 3ml, then compare any clone against it on your own skin.
- Which Sauvage Elixir dupe leads your ranking, and why?
- Asad by Lattafa leads because it holds the largest vote of any pick: Parfumo's comparison page shows 685 of 792 voting members marking it as similar to Sauvage Elixir. That is what members report, not a note-for-note match. The shared listed note is patchouli, and Asad adds black pepper, tobacco, coffee and vanilla.
- How close does Enigma Une by French Avenue get to Sauvage Elixir?
- On the lists, close. Parfumo's note table gives Enigma Une the same nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon and grapefruit opening, a lavender heart, and licorice, patchouli and Haitian vetiver in the base. Sauvage Elixir adds amber and sandalwood, which Enigma Une's table does not list. Parfumo shows 51 of 54 voting members marking it as similar.
- Which clones list the same cardamom and lavender as Sauvage Elixir?
- Enigma Une by French Avenue and Kiage 112 by Kiage both list cardamom and lavender, and so does Sauvage Elixir. Ambassador Intense by Gisada shares licorice, nutmeg, grapefruit and cinnamon with the Elixir but lists lavender nowhere in Parfumo's comparison. Asad shares only patchouli.
- How do the Sauvage Elixir dupes compare per ml with a decant?
- The table on this page lists each clone's bottle price and price per ml, with the date we checked. A 10ml decant of Sauvage Elixir costs €3.53/ml per ml, and a 3ml decant costs €3.99/ml per ml. Ambassador Intense is a 50ml bottle, so compare it per ml, not by bottle price.
- Do clones of plain Sauvage work for Sauvage Elixir?
- Not reliably. The Elixir has its own note list, with cardamom, cinnamon, lavender, licorice and amber, so a clone voted against plain Sauvage tells you little. Choose from the picks compared against the Elixir itself, and read our guide to how Sauvage and Sauvage Elixir differ.
- How long will Sauvage Elixir stay on my skin?
- It depends on your skin and the weather, so we give no fixed time. Spray a 3ml decant on your wrist, go about your day, and check the base late in the evening. That tells you more than any number.
- Does 10ML sell dupes?
- No. 10ML sells only original perfumes. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. The dupes in this guide are other houses’ perfumes, and we don’t sell them. You can wear the original first from €11.97.
