Ex Nihilo was set up in Paris in 2013 by fragrance professionals who wanted luxury perfume to feel more personal and more artistic. Almost the whole range is unisex, and most of it is bright: bergamot, pear and lychee up top, with musk, cedarwood and vetiver underneath. Pink pepper and ginger add a spark. Start with Blue Talisman, a clean, fruity citrus that works almost anywhere.
