Dior Fahrenheit Dupes 2026: 6 Clones vs the Original

Six clones compared for Dior Fahrenheit, J'adore and Ambre Nuit, plus the reason Dior Homme has none listed. Or wear the original first in a 3ml decant.

Or try the original from €8.91

In this guide

We sell only the originals. Every perfume we sell is the authentic original, decanted from the perfume house’s own bottle. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. We never sell dupes, clones or inspired-by perfumes. This guide compares the dupes other houses make of Fahrenheit, so you can choose, or wear the original first.

How we source and decant every perfume

L'Homme Le Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent, Fahrenheit by Dior and Prada L'Homme on a pale blue background

Dior has separate guides for Dior Sauvage dupes, Dior Homme Intense dupes and Hypnotic Poison dupes. This page covers four Dior perfumes that have no guide of their own: Dior Fahrenheit, Dior Homme, J'adore and Ambre Nuit. Fahrenheit gets two clones, J'adore two and Ambre Nuit two. Dior Homme gets none, and we say why.

The evidence is stronger for some clones than others. Hitfire rests on a Parfumo comparison and on Fragrantica commenters. Renheit and Fruity Jasmine rest on Fragrantica owners. Kiage 178, Kiage 126 and Amber Night rest on the clone houses' own pages and on published note or accord lists. No independent comparison exists for those three, so we only say how their lists differ from the original's, never how they smell.

What does Dior Fahrenheit smell like?

Dior Fahrenheit launched in 1988 and is credited to Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Maurice Roger and Michel Almairac. The top lists nutmeg flower, lavender, cedar, mandarin orange, chamomile, bergamot, hawthorn and lemon. The heart holds violet leaf, nutmeg, sandalwood, carnation, honeysuckle, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley. The base turns to leather, vetiver, musk, amber, patchouli and tonka bean. Dior describes the scent on its own page for Fahrenheit Eau de Toilette. Both Fahrenheit clones below are judged against that Eau de Toilette.

Best overall: Hitfire

HitfireLa RiveBest overall

Hitfire by La Rive has the strongest support of the six. Parfumo's comparison page shows 119 of 134 voting members finding it similar to Fahrenheit Eau de Toilette.

Commenters on Fragrantica find Hitfire very close to Fahrenheit, with violet as the main note and shorter wear. One calls it a lighter take on Fahrenheit, another finds the performance very weak, and one finds it closer to Dunhill Fresh. In a Fragrantica forum thread on Fahrenheit clones, a member who compared the two on skin finds Hitfire extremely similar, with weaker performance than the original.

The difference the sources raise most is wear. Hitfire suits you if you want the Fahrenheit direction with violet to the fore and accept that it fades sooner. If staying power matters most, wear the original, and read our guide on how to make perfume last longer for either bottle.

Closest on the dry-down: Renheit

RenheitFragrance WorldClosest on the dry-down

Renheit by Fragrance World comes in more than one version. This section means the silver-cap version aimed at Fahrenheit Eau de Toilette.

On Fragrantica, an owner calls Renheit pretty close to Fahrenheit Eau de Toilette but finds its performance weak. Another commenter finds it closer to Fahrenheit than to Fahrenheit Le Parfum, the original's own flanker. The same commenter says sweeter floral and powdery musk notes soften its gasoline facet. In a Fragrantica forum thread asking for a Fahrenheit clone, a member who compared Renheit with Fahrenheit over six months kept Renheit and sold the original.

So the difference is a softer gasoline edge and weaker performance. Renheit suits you if that sharp edge is the part of Fahrenheit you could do without. If it is the part you love, wear the original first.

What does Dior Homme (2020) smell like, and why is no clone listed?

The Dior Homme that 10ML stocks launched in 2020. Its top lists bergamot, pink pepper and elemi. The heart holds Atlas cedar, cashmere wood and patchouli. The base lists Iso E Super, Haitian vetiver and white musk.

We list no clone for it. No clone of this version has a comparison we can cite, and forum threads asking for one return only loose suggestions. An invented pick would only look helpful. Try the original in 3ml or 10ml instead.

If you mean the older, iris-led Dior Homme, now sold as Dior Homme Original, or Dior Homme Intense, our Dior Homme Intense dupes guide is the better place to start.

What does J'adore smell like?

J'adore launched in 1999. The top lists pear, melon, magnolia, peach, mandarin orange and bergamot. The heart is a floral bouquet of jasmine, rose, freesia, orchid, plum, violet, tuberose and lily-of-the-valley. The base lists musk, vanilla, cedar and blackberry. If jasmine is why you wear it, our guide to jasmine perfumes shows where else to look.

Lowest price: Fruity Jasmine

Fruity JasmineDossierLowest price

Fruity Jasmine by Dossier has the lowest price of the six; the page's table shows it, dated. On Fragrantica, a member who misses J'adore finds it very close to the original, a clean pear-peach floral with plenty of jasmine. Another calls it a pretty J'adore dupe that lasts well.

Dossier presents it as inspired by J'adore. Its list opens on mandarin, green leaves and sweet pea, moves to jasmine, ylang-ylang, champaca and peach, and rests on musk, sandalwood and plum. Green leaves, sweet pea, ylang-ylang, champaca and sandalwood do not appear in Fragrantica's pyramid for J'adore.

That makes it the clean, jasmine-led reading of J'adore the commenters describe. It suits you if jasmine and peach are what you wear J'adore for, and you do not miss tuberose or vanilla.

Softer take: Kiage 178

Kiage 178KiageSofter take

Kiage presents Kiage 178 as its alternative to J'adore. Its list opens on bergamot, melon and peach, moves to jasmine, lily of the valley, orchid and rose, and rests on cedar, vanilla and musk. Going by the lists, it keeps J'adore's melon, peach, jasmine, rose, vanilla and musk.

The main difference is what it leaves out. It lists no tuberose, plum, blackberry or pear, all of which sit in Fragrantica's pyramid for J'adore. That pyramid also holds magnolia, mandarin orange, freesia, violet and bergamot.

We call it softer only because its list is shorter. Nobody has compared the two on skin in the sources we found. If tuberose or blackberry is the part of J'adore you wear it for, this list will not give you either. Try J'adore in 3ml before you buy a bottle.

What does Ambre Nuit smell like?

Dior's own page describes Ambre Nuit as an amber and Damascus rose eau de parfum and names no citrus notes. Fragrantica's pyramid for this Ambre Nuit lists amber and Turkish rose only. Its community accords are amber, rose, floral, animalic and powdery. If amber is the draw, our guide on what amber is in perfume explains the note.

Fresher take: Kiage 126

Kiage 126KiageFresher take

Kiage presents Kiage 126 as its alternative to Ambre Nuit. Its list opens on bergamot and grapefruit, moves to Damask rose and pink pepper, and rests on amber, cedar and guaiac wood.

Going by the lists, the main difference is the top: a citrus opening over an amber-rose core, which Dior's own description of Ambre Nuit does not name. Kiage's listing also has no patchouli and no ambergris.

That is a documented note difference, not a verdict on how it smells. It suits you if you like the amber-and-rose list and want a citrus top added. The page's table shows the price, dated.

Sweeter take: Amber Night

Amber NightAlexandria FragrancesSweeter take

Amber Night by Alexandria Fragrances is the last of the six. Alexandria Fragrances presents it as inspired by Christian Dior's Ambre Nuit, built on sweet amber, pink pepper and Turkish rose, with bergamot and grapefruit. Fragrantica lists amber, rose, pink pepper, grapefruit and bergamot.

The difference we can document is one accord. Fragrantica's community accords for Amber Night include sweet, and the accords for this Ambre Nuit (amber, rose, floral, animalic and powdery) do not.

Going by that, Amber Night is the pick if you want an amber list with a sweet accord that Ambre Nuit's lacks. No independent comparison exists, so treat it as a lead to test, not a result.

What every Dior clone gets wrong

The same complaint repeats across the Fahrenheit clones: weaker performance than the original. Commenters say it of Hitfire, an owner says it of Renheit, and a forum member says it of Hitfire again. Wear is the part a clone struggles to match, so test it first.

For the J'adore and Ambre Nuit picks the gap is different. Their lists leave notes out or add them. Kiage 178 lists no tuberose, plum, blackberry or pear, and Kiage 126 opens on citrus that Dior's own page does not name. A list shows what a maker put in a pyramid, not what you smell on your wrist.

How to test a Dior clone against the original

Test on skin, not on paper. The weak wear that commenters report for Hitfire and Renheit only shows once the perfume has settled on skin, and paper hides it.

Wear Fahrenheit on one day and the clone on another, on the same patch of skin. Judge both late in the day, once they have settled, and note which one you still want to smell.

A 3ml decant of Dior Fahrenheit is €8.91 and gives about 60 sprays, enough to wear it through a few days before you choose a clone. A 10ml decant is €24.21 and gives about 200 sprays, which lasts for weeks. A 30ml decant is €57.60 and gives about 600 sprays, the size to keep. The 10ml decant works out at €2.42/ml. New to decants? Our guide explains what a perfume decant is.

Do the same for J'adore and Ambre Nuit. Try each original in 3ml before you pay for a 50ml bottle of a clone whose list leaves notes out.

If you would rather change direction

A clone is not the only way to try something new. We also stock L'Homme Le Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent, Prada L'Homme, Grand Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Tuxedo by Yves Saint Laurent, each in 3ml, 10ml and 30ml. They are different perfumes from other houses, so you choose a different scent.

Clone or original? What to know first

Can I wear Dior Fahrenheit in 3ml or 10ml before I choose a clone?
Yes. The 3ml decant is €8.91 and gives about 60 sprays, enough to wear it on skin for a few days. A 10ml decant is €24.21 with about 200 sprays, and a 30ml decant is €57.60 with about 600. Wear it first, then decide whether a clone is worth a bottle.
Which Dior Fahrenheit dupe leads our ranking, and why?
Hitfire by La Rive. Parfumo's comparison page shows 119 of 134 voting members finding it similar to Fahrenheit Eau de Toilette, and Fragrantica commenters find it very close, with violet as the main note. The catch is wear: the sources we found describe it as weaker on wear than the original.
How close does a Dior Fahrenheit clone like Renheit get?
A Fragrantica owner calls the silver-cap Renheit pretty close to Fahrenheit Eau de Toilette but finds its performance weak. Another commenter says sweeter floral and powdery musk notes soften its gasoline facet. One forum member kept Renheit after six months of comparing and sold the original. German readers call a clone like this a Duftzwilling.
Are there Dior dupes for the 2020 Dior Homme?
We found no clone of the 2020 Dior Homme with a comparison we can cite, and forum threads asking for one return only loose suggestions, so we list none. Try the original in a 3ml decant for €8.10. If you mean the older iris-led Dior Homme or Dior Homme Intense, start with our Dior Homme Intense dupes guide.
Which J'adore dupe keeps the notes I know?
Going by the published lists, Kiage 178 keeps J'adore's melon, peach, jasmine, rose, vanilla and musk, but lists no tuberose, plum, blackberry or pear. Fruity Jasmine by Dossier is described by a Fragrantica member as a clean pear-peach floral with plenty of jasmine. You can try J'adore first in a 3ml decant for €7.83.
How do Dior clone bottles compare per ml with a decant of the original?
The clone prices sit in this page's table, dated. The original comes in decants, so you pay for the ml you will use: the 10ml decant of Dior Fahrenheit is €24.21, which works out at €2.42/ml. A 3ml decant at €8.91 lets you check before you commit to a bottle.
Which Ambre Nuit dupe shares the notes Dior names?
Dior's own page describes Ambre Nuit as an amber and Damascus rose eau de parfum. Kiage 126 lists amber and Damask rose, but opens on bergamot and grapefruit, which Dior's page does not name. Amber Night lists amber, rose and pink pepper, and Fragrantica's community accords for it include sweet. Try Ambre Nuit first in a 3ml decant for €17.91.
How will Dior Fahrenheit last on my skin?
It depends on your skin and the weather, and the sources we found describe both Hitfire and Renheit as weaker on wear than Fahrenheit. The reliable way to find out is a 3ml decant, worn on skin for a few days.
Does 10ML sell dupes?
No. 10ML sells only original perfumes. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. The dupes in this guide are other houses’ perfumes, and we don’t sell them. You can wear the original first from €8.91.
