Hermès Dupes 2026: The Leading Clones for 2 Perfumes

Hermès dupes, perfume by perfume: the leading picks for Terre d'Hermès and Un Jardin sur le Nil. 10ML sells the original Hermès perfumes as 3ml or 10ml decants to wear first.

In this guide

We sell only the originals. Every perfume we sell is the authentic original, decanted from the perfume house’s own bottle. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. We never sell dupes, clones or inspired-by perfumes. The dupes in this guide are made and sold by other houses; we compare them so you can choose, or wear the original first.

How we source and decant every perfume

Perfume by perfume, these are the Hermès dupes that lead. For Terre d'Hermès, Rasasi Fattan pour Homme heads our full guide. Rituals Oasis Verte comes nearest on the dry-down, and of the picks priced in euros, Zara Vetiver Pamplemousse costs the least per ml. For Un Jardin sur le Nil we found one sourced pick, Mancera Melody of the Sun. Whichever you choose, wear the original as a 3ml decant first, so you know what a dupe has to match.

Terre d'Hermès and Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermès next to a 10ML decant, with orange, cedarwood and grapefruit, the key notes of Terre d'Hermès

This page takes the two Hermès perfumes one at a time. The ranking, the dated clone prices and every source for Terre d'Hermès live in its own guide. If you want the wider picture, our perfume dupes price list covers more houses.

Woody and earthy: Terre d'Hermès

Terre d'Hermès by Hermès

Terre d'Hermès by Hermès launched in 2006. It opens on orange and grapefruit, moves through pepper, pelargonium and flint, and dries down on vetiver, cedar, patchouli and benzoin. Its accords read citrus, woody, fresh spicy, aromatic, earthy and warm spicy. A 3ml decant of the original is €6.84.

The guide's three leading picks, with the evidence behind each:

  • Rasasi Fattan pour Homme. On Parfumo's comparison page, 264 of 295 voting members find it similar to the Hermès. The member who opened a Fragrantica forum thread on Fattan calls it very similar, and quite close though not perfect. Dissent on Basenotes: one member who owns both finds Fattan not bad but Terre d'Hermès much better.
  • Rituals Oasis Verte. On the matching Parfumo page, 75 of 100 voting members find it similar. One Fragrantica commenter finds it almost exactly like the Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette, with a slightly spicier, greener twist and a bone-dry, green, spicy dry-down; another finds it close to the Parfum but less earthy. It is hard to find: no Rituals shop in the EU listed it when we checked.
  • Zara Vetiver Pamplemousse. Fragrantica commenters relate it to Terre d'Hermès: one finds it like Terre d'Hermès streamlined to the basics, another says the vetiver dry-down reminds them of it. It is an alternative in the same grapefruit and vetiver direction, not a close match: Parfumo's page shows only 3 of 11 voting members finding it similar.

Four more picks are compared there. All seven, with dated bottle prices and the dissent, are in our Terre d'Hermès dupes guide.

Green and watery: Un Jardin sur le Nil

Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermès

Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermès launched in 2005. It is a separate Hermès perfume, not a version of Terre d'Hermès. The top is grapefruit, carrot, green mango and tomato. The heart holds bulrush, orange, lotus and peony, and the base holds musk, iris, incense, labdanum and cinnamon. Its accords read citrus, aromatic, floral, fresh spicy, green, fruity, tropical and powdery. A 3ml decant is €8.46.

We found one defensible pick for it, and we would rather say so than pad a list. Mancera Melody of the Sun is the sweeter take. On Fragrantica, one commenter on Un Jardin sur le Nil finds it very close to Melody of the Sun and likes both. Parfumo's comparison page classes Melody of the Sun as citrus, fresh, fruity, floral, green and sweet, against fresh, green, citrus, fruity, floral and aquatic for the Hermès. That is one commenter and one page, so read it as a lead, not a verdict.

Originals that share their notes

Three perfumes by other houses overlap with the Hermès pair in their notes. They are separate perfumes, and you can wear each as a decant.

Basso by Sospiro

Basso by Sospiro launched in 2022 and is unisex. Like Terre d'Hermès, it opens on grapefruit and sits on vetiver and cedar. It adds carnation and labdanum in the heart, and black pepper, oakmoss, pink pepper and sandalwood underneath.

Perseus by Parfums de Marly

Perseus by Parfums de Marly launched in 2024. It shares grapefruit, vetiver and cedar with Terre d'Hermès, then adds bergamot, black currant and geranium on the way, and tonka bean and ambergris in the base.

Vele by Tiziana Terenzi

Vele by Tiziana Terenzi is unisex and is the loose link here, for Un Jardin sur le Nil readers: both list green mango. Vele pairs it with passionfruit, plum, heliotrope and bourbon vanilla.

More Hermès originals to wear

These Hermès perfumes have no picks on this page. Each one is its own perfume, decanted from the original bottle, so a 3ml decant is the simple way to try one of them.

Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver by Hermès

Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver launched in 2018 and is listed for men. It opens on bergamot, grapefruit and lemon, moves through Sichuan pepper and geranium, and settles on olibanum, patchouli, amberwood and vetiver. It is a separate, later version of Terre d'Hermès.

Un Jardin en Méditerranée by Hermès

Un Jardin en Méditerranée launched in 2003 and is unisex. Bergamot, lemon and mandarin orange open it. Orange blossom and white nerium oleander form the heart. The base brings fig leaf, red cedar, juniper, pistachio, musk and cypress. Its accords are aromatic, woody, citrus and green.

Eau des Merveilles by Hermès

Eau des Merveilles launched in 2004 and is listed for women. Its opening is elemi, lemon and orange; amber, pepper, pink pepper and violet follow. The base holds fir, cedar, Madagascar vetiver, oakmoss and benzoin. Its accords are woody, fresh spicy, aromatic and citrus, with amber and conifer accords.

Twilly d'Hermès by Hermès

Twilly d'Hermès launched in 2017 and is listed for women. Ginger, bitter orange and bergamot open it. Tuberose, orange blossom and jasmine make up the heart, and sandalwood and vanilla close it. Its accords are white floral, citrus, fresh spicy and tuberose, with a powdery, woody side.

Un Jardin à Cythère by Hermès

Un Jardin à Cythère launched in 2023 and is unisex. Its listed notes include citruses, pistachio and olive tree, with no heart or base notes listed. Its accords are woody, citrus, green, fresh and nutty.

Trying the Hermès originals on skin

Spray on skin, not on a paper card. Wear the original one day and the clone another, in the same kind of weather, and compare late in the day once each has settled. Judge the base first, because the dry-down is where perfumes part ways.

A 3ml decant gives around 60 sprays: €6.84 for Terre d'Hermès and €8.46 for Un Jardin sur le Nil. A 10ml decant gives around 200 sprays, which suits weeks of wear. Our guide to what a perfume decant is explains how we fill them, and our guide to dupe or original decant helps you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Can I wear Terre d'Hermès in 3ml or 10ml before I choose a clone?
Yes. The 3ml decant is €6.84 for 60 sprays to discover it, the 10ml decant is €18.00 for 200 sprays to wear for weeks, and the 30ml decant gives 600 sprays to keep. Wear it for a few days first, then you know what a clone has to match.
Which Terre d'Hermès dupe leads our ranking, and why?
Fattan pour Homme by Rasasi. Parfumo's comparison page shows 264 of 295 voting members finding it similar to Terre d'Hermès, and Fragrantica forum members call it close, though not exact. Parfumo files it fresher and greener than the original.
How close does Montale Red Vetiver get to Terre d'Hermès?
Forum members are warm about it. One calls it nearly spot-on and very close, others say they like it better than the original, and one describes it as a more natural, vivid version. That is their view; wear the original first and judge for yourself.
Is Un Jardin sur le Nil a version of Terre d'Hermès?
No. It is a separate Hermès perfume that opens on grapefruit, carrot, green mango and tomato. We found one defensible pick for it, Mancera Melody of the Sun, and you can try the Hermès first from €8.46 for a 3ml decant.
How do the clones compare per ml with a decant of the original?
The comparison table in our Terre d'Hermès guide dates each clone price. For the original, a 10ml decant of Terre d'Hermès works out at €1.80/ml per ml, and a 3ml decant lets you test it without buying a full bottle.
Which perfumes share Terre d'Hermès's grapefruit and vetiver?
Sospiro Basso and Parfums de Marly Perseus both list grapefruit, vetiver and cedar. They are separate perfumes, so expect extras: oakmoss and sandalwood in Basso, bergamot and tonka bean in Perseus.
How do I find out how Terre d'Hermès wears on my skin before I buy a bottle?
Spray it on skin, not paper, and wear it on a normal day in a 3ml decant. How it wears depends on your skin and the weather, so judge it late in the day, once it has settled, and repeat before you compare any Hermès dupes.
Which Hermès dupes does 10ML compare, and where?
Terre d'Hermès has its own guide comparing seven picks with dated bottle prices and the dissent, and Un Jardin sur le Nil has one sourced pick on this page, Mancera Melody of the Sun. For either Hermès perfume, try the original as a 3ml decant first.
Does 10ML sell dupes?
No. 10ML sells only original perfumes. We buy our bottles from authorized EU distributors and directly from the brands, and 10ML decants every perfume itself. The dupes in this guide are other houses’ perfumes, and we don’t sell them.
