Parfums de Marly Dupes 2026: Leading Clones by Perfume

Layton by Parfums de Marly

Layton dates from 2016. It opens on apple, lavender, bergamot and mandarin orange, moves through geranium, violet and jasmine, and settles on vanilla, cardamom, sandalwood, pepper, guaiac wood and patchouli. A 3ml of the original is €10.98.

Al Haramain Détour Noir leads that ranking. On Parfumo's comparison page a large majority of voting members call it similar to Layton, with apple, lavender, bergamot, jasmine, violet, geranium, vanilla, patchouli and guaiac wood listed in both. A Parfumo member who owns both finds it really very similar, with a harsher, slightly more synthetic apple and a less sweet, fresher dry-down. Another member finds the opening less smooth than Layton's but the dry-downs very close. Orientica Royal Bleu is the closest-on-the-dry-down pick: a Parfumo member who owns Layton and wore both finds the openings different and the two alike once dried down, while a second finds it harsher at first, then strikingly similar to Layton, with Layton only slightly sweeter. Khadlaj Azure Velvet is the fresher take. One Parfumo member finds it resembles Layton after the first moments but fresher and more citrusy, and another finds Layton warmer and sweeter. Althaïr by Parfums de Marly

Althaïr arrived in 2023. It starts with cinnamon, cardamom, orange blossom and bergamot. Bourbon vanilla and elemi carry the middle, and the base brings together praline, musk, Ambroxan, tonka, guaiac wood and candied almond. A 3ml costs €10.89.

Lattafa Pride Art of Nature II leads. On Parfumo's comparison page it has the highest share of voting members calling it similar of any Althaïr clone, and both perfumes list bergamot, orange blossom, guaiac wood and musk. French Avenue's Liquid Brun, a similar original 10ML stocks, has by far the largest vote on its own Parfumo comparison page and lists orange blossom, cinnamon, bergamot, Bourbon vanilla, elemi, praline, guaiac wood and musk. Khadlaj Island Vanilla Dunes has the lowest bottle price in that guide. On its own Parfumo comparison page it shares cinnamon, bergamot, orange blossom, guaiac wood, praline and musk with Althaïr, and the same page lists a few additions of its own. Armaf Monarque is the sweeter take, a label the guide reads from its note list rather than from how it wears, on a small vote; Parfumo lists orange blossom, cinnamon, bergamot, elemi, praline, guaiac wood and musk for both. Delina by Parfums de Marly

Delina, from 2017, begins with rhubarb, bergamot and nutmeg. Its middle holds Turkish rose, peony, musk and vanilla, and it finishes on cashmeran, incense, cedar and vetiver. A 3ml is €14.85.

Maison Alhambra Delilah Pour Femme leads. A Fragrantica forum member finds it very close to Delina, a little punchier in the first minutes before it settles, and another places it between Delina and Delina Exclusif. A member who owns both finds it really similar but lighter, less tart and a little powdery, and several members recommend it for Delina, one calling it decent for the price but not exact. Alexandria Fragrances Lady Diana is the closest-on-the-dry-down pick. A Parfumo write-up of both, one on each arm, finds Delina's rhubarb stronger at the start and Lady Diana a little spicier, with the two very close later in the wear. The house says it is inspired by Delina, while one Fragrantica owner of both finds the original smoother and another member finds the two very different. Zimaya Fatima Pink has the lowest bottle price. Members call it a fruitier, more citrusy take, and one calls it a cousin rather than a match. Delina Exclusif by Parfums de Marly

Delina Exclusif (2018) trades the original's lightness for depth: litchi, pear and pink pepper at the top, Turkish rose, oud and incense in the heart, then vanilla, amber, musk and vetiver. A 3ml is €14.58.

Armaf Club de Nuit White Imperiale leads. On Parfumo's comparison page most voting members call it similar, with Turkish rose, vanilla, musk, incense and vetiver listed. In a Fragrantica forum thread one member calls it the closest to Exclusif of the many Delina alternatives they have tried, and another who owns the original calls it the closest too, while a third finds it overpowering at first and a commenter comparing three alternatives ranks it third of the three. Lattafa Thouq is the closest-on-the-dry-down pick. A forum member who has all the perfumes being compared says Thouq is very similar to Delina Exclusif, and a Fragrantica member who owns three alternatives finds all of them missing the original's candied opening but Thouq's dry-down the closest. Asdaaf Ameerat Al Arab Prive Rose is the sweeter take. One owner finds it a little more bubblegum-like throughout with a muskier dry-down, and another notes the likeness but would not use it in place of the original. Valaya by Parfums de Marly

Valaya (2023) opens on aldehydes, white peach, bergamot and mandarin orange, moves to orange blossom, lily-of-the-valley and vetiver, and ends on musk, Ambroxan and vanilla. A 3ml is €12.96.

Maison Alhambra Delilah Blanc leads. Parfumo's comparison page has nearly all voting members calling it similar, and both pyramids list white peach, bergamot, mandarin, orange blossom, vetiver, musk and vanilla. Fragrantica members who tried it alongside Afnan's Mystique Bouquet, a similar original 10ML stocks, say it feels slightly closer to Valaya, though one finds it flatter. House of Thêom Velvet Whisper has the lowest price per ml. A Parfumo member writes that it goes straight to Valaya's clean, powdery dry-down without the fruity opening and is a little flatter and more linear. Why the original comes first

The picks above all come from other houses, and what we know about them is what outside sources report: forum members, comparison pages and, for one, the house's own description. That helps, yet no source can predict how a clone will settle on your skin, or whether the original was what you wanted all along.
