Balmain is a French couture house founded in Paris in 1945 by Pierre Balmain. Its first perfumes were created with perfumer Germaine Cellier, among them Elysées 64-83 (1946), Vent Vert (1947) and Jolie Madame (1953). Since a 2022 licensing agreement, Balmain fragrances are developed with the Estée Lauder Companies: the refillable Les Éternels de Balmain collection, from Bleu Infini and Blanc Galaxie to Sel d'Ambre, Bronze, Ébène, Cuir Élysées and Rouge, and Destin de Balmain.
