What does Symphony smell like?
Symphony by Louis Vuitton launched in 2021 and is classed as unisex. It opens with bergamot, grapefruit and orange. Ginger forms the heart, and musk sits underneath. Its accords are citrus, fresh and fruity.

Both perfumes list bergamot, ginger and grapefruit. The main difference is the base: Island Dreams adds an Ambroxan and musk base, where Symphony lists musk alone. The votes do not say how long a perfume lasts or how far it projects, and a house statement does not either. So we have kept to notes and documented differences. If a point matters to you, such as how the base settles on your skin, the only reliable check is your own wrist.
How to test a dupe
Spray on skin, not on paper. Symphony is built on a bright citrus opening, and that opening reads differently on a warm wrist than on a card.
Wear Symphony on one day and the clone on another, so each gets a fresh start. Judge late in the day, once the opening has settled. Ask which one you reach for again, not which one wins on the first spray.
